Nurse Practitioner

Loraine Redican
In Mid-May 2016, we were joined by Loraine Redican as our Nurse Practitioner. Many patients may remember her - as she was a valued member of the team until 2013 when she left the practice. We are very pleased that she has agreed to join us again and she will be helping us with general nursing duties but also as a Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner - Description of duties
Nurse practitioners have had specialised education and training to allow them to provide higher levels of care and perform a variety of tasks that other nurses are not licensed to do. Nurse practitioners often focus on specific areas or populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health or adult medicine. They may complete an advanced degree program that allows them to practice independently and take on roles similar to that of a doctor.

Practice Manager

Our Practice Manager is Louise Perugia
Our previous Practice Manager Mandy Barrett resigned from the practice in early 2016 and we have appointed Louise Perugia.

Reception/Admin and other staff

Their job is to make your appointments on our computer booking system, receive you politely and kindly into our surgery (please always make sure you check in at the reception desk!). They  keep the surgeries running efficiently, organize many administrative tasks such as issuing your repeat prescriptions, test results, and a host of background tasks you never see.
